Spring 2021. Central Florida. A group of car enthusiasts who were tired of the same cruise nights and cookie-cutter shows decided to do something different. No sponsors, no judges, no entry fees. Just clean builds on clean pavement in a Jacksonville parking lot that hadn't seen forty cars parked in formation before.
Word spread through Instagram DMs. The meet had no official name, no Instagram page — just a dropped pin and an informal "show up if you have something clean." Forty-seven cars showed up. A few people were wearing custom shirts made for the occasion. Someone posted a photo and the hashtag stuck: #ChicksNWhips.
"We didn't plan to start a brand. We planned to go to a car meet. The brand showed up on its own."
By summer 2021, the second meet drew over 80 cars. People started asking where to buy the shirts. There weren't any — yet. That changed fast. The first official CNW drop was a hand-screen-printed run of 30 tees sold out of the back of a hatchback in a Target parking lot.
2022 was when the brand started to feel real. A proper online store. A second colorway. The first Ride of the Month award. The community that had shown up for a parking lot hang was now something you could build an identity around. VIP members started asking for more access — early drops, event priority, a Discord server where builds got talked through at 2am.

2023. The gallery launched online. Hundreds of builds submitted in the first week. The curation process became a real job — approving submissions, curating the monthly Ride of the Month, mediating the good-natured arguments over whose Camaro was cleaner. A community was running itself, with CNW as the thread holding it together.
2024 brought the Pit Crew VIP membership. Silver and Gold tiers. The idea was simple: give the most committed people in the community something that felt like more than just a purchase. A membership that meant something — early access and exclusive perks
2025. The CNW
Today CNW has hosted 14 meets, shipped merch to all 50 states, and runs one of the most active automotive communities in central Florida. The parking lot that started it all is still there. We still hold meets nearby. Different crowd now — bigger, louder, cleaner. Same energy.
